Training Day
5K Race

Slavery still exists!

The Freedom 5K race is an annual event that raises awareness and funds for the eradication of modern day slavery. The devastating reality is that people are bought and sold, not just in foreign countries but right here in Seattle.

This year the Freedom 5K has chosen to highlight Child Trafficking within Washington State.

Please visit our fact sheet for more information on child trafficking.

What can you do?

We are only one of many awareness and aid organizations promoting justice. You can help by getting involved and educated and spreading that knowledge. Start by registering for the 5k! We also need volunteers for preparation and for the day of the race. Financial donations are essential to the growth of our reach; contact us to learn how to become a Sponsor or Financial Partner!

  What is Human Trafficking?

Human trafficking is the oppression of human beings against their will and under duress for the purpose of enslavement and exploitation. It exists in nearly every country, victimizing millions of men, women and children. It is a lucrative and organized crime reaching all sectors and industries, and it is happening right here in our own communities and neighborhoods. It is time to act against this crime.
